Always hold your Kanzashi Hair Accessory by its base for stability rather than the flower petals or leaves.
Avoid letting any part of the Kanzashi come into contact with perfumes, body lotions or moisturizers because discolouration may occur.
Although every Kanzashi is water-resistant, refrain from showering or swimming with the it on to reduce metal-tarnishing by chlorine or seawater.

If you will not be wearing your Kanzashi for some time, store it in airtight spaces to maintain metalwork’s glossiness and colour.
Always keep your Kanzashi away from sharp objects or rough surfaces. Satin is smooth and extremely tough, but it is prone to fraying if scraped.
If your Kanzashi gets wet or dirty, you can hand-wash the Kanzashi with a little hand soap. Then, air-dry it under indirect sunlight for best results.
